Ok, it is ten to one in the morning. I have about seven hours before I leave for Luton Airport and my flight for Israel. I can't sleep!
My thoughts are all over the place however I can't help feeling slightly nervous about my trip to Bethlehem.
In Israel, three teenagers are missing. The Israeli authorities are blaming the Palestinians and are doing searches in places where I will be visiting. In Hebron there are about 3000 troops shutting down the city in a search for these kids. Will this mean security issues at Bethlehem? I don't know.
What I do know is that I wholeheartedly feel that this is a trip I am meant to take and that somewhere in this mixed up country, this supposedly Holy Land, there is a lesson for me to learn. Something that will affect my future by making me view things differently.
Thanks for listening.
