A collection of poems about Palestine pt 2

Water,  water,  everywhere.

Water,  water everywhere,
Black tanks are on my roof,
Israelis turn my water off,
But I can't give you proof.

Bang,  bang goes explosions
Israelis at my door,
They shoot,  they shout, they wreck the place,
My privacy no more.

I leave my house in the morning,
But I can't get in at night,
Israelis closed my road off,
I will be climbing roofs tonight.

I pay the same taxes,
As my black clad orthodox friends,
But why poor municipal service,
When we are all equal in the end?

Roads blocked by the Israeli Defence Force

Murder is wrong, so is oppression!

War Zone!

War zone!
Sore zone,
Same old story
Bore zone!

My home,
Your home,
Confusion reigns
Collective home?

My God,
Is your God.
Lets reach out,
to OUR God!

Hebron - Ghost Town

Hebron, a ghost town,
Two religions, a host town,
Abrams sons are fighting,
The Israeli one is biting.

Ghost town, a dead town,
Life's hard, people frown.
Matters arising,
Israelis derising.
Settlers move in,
With ease, surprising.

Soldiers have guns,
People have no fun,
Children work,
Selling trinkets for Mum.

Life ebbing away,
I witnessed today,
But the Palestinians will stay,
Experience freedom, I hope, one day.

I wish I was a Palestinian.

I wish I was a Palestinian,
I want to make that clear,
They hold onto values,
Cling onto what is dear.

I wish I was a Palestinian
Had their sense of wrong and right,
Their courage to face oppressors,
And commitment to non violent fights.

I'm not a Palestinian,
I live a world of free,
but if I was a Palestinian,
I would welcome you to be with me.

Tell others about their story,
The abuse of human rights,
Because if you were a Palestinian,
Wouldn't you want others to take up your fight?

The Messiah Will Come Home One Day

The Messiah will come home one day,
He will wash all our troubles away,
My goodness, what will he say,
When he sees how we treat people today.

I stand at the Wailing Wall,
Praying for the end of all,
But am I unable to see,
What is happening all around me?

I am looking for the remains of David,
Removing dead Palestinians gravely,
I only care for the City of David,
Not for those I am displacing.

Stockholm Syndrone

Stockholm syndrome,
Crave a new home,
Displace Palestinians,
How far will they go?

Ethnic cleansing,
Violence not easing,
Wearing them down,
It's almost teasing.

Stronger power,
By the hour,
Settlers move in,
Watched from towers.

Hiding their actions,
From the outside world,
More important news,
Hides our story, as it unfurls.
