I have arrived in Bethlehem!

Greetings from Bethlehem!

I left a drizzly and grey Cambridge today to take a flight from Luton to Tel Aviv.
It is 30 degrees and balmy here,  now on Bethlehem!

One of my big concerns was the safety of my underpants padded Fender Telecaster which sadly got a knock but is still playable.

It was great to get through customs without incident to find our very own Fat Band bus!

Then we drove through the rugged and rolling countryside to Bethlehem via Jerusalem.
Our first view of Bethlehem was the separation wall.

It was quite dark but the separation between Israel and the West Bank was quite striking.

After checking in and having a lovely dinner I joined my friends as we took a quick walk around Bethlehem which was beautiful.

So here is a taster of the sights here, I will write more tomorrow as I am visiting the old town Jerusalem area.

Please let me know what you think of the blog or if you have any questions.

Thanks for listening,

J
